So I had this awesome post typed up about my Christmas in the Marlborough Sounds, but I was using prepaid internet, and the time ran out right as the entry was posting - not having internet access sure is annoying.
Anyway, here is a quick Christmas summary:
Me, Teri, Amy, + two friends in the Marlborough Sounds
Cheeseburgers for Christmas Eve dinner
Glow worms in place of Christmas lights
'Twas the Night Before Christmas' recited by Amy in the hot tub
The Christmas Story from Luke read aloud from our bunk beds in our dorm room
Snorkelling on Christmas morning
Tanning and reading throughout the day
Roast, grilled veggies, and strawberry shortcake for Christmas dinner
A visit from Santa on a pontoon boat.
So it was a very fun Christmas, although a bit untraditional. It was probably about as good as it could be without being at home.
I am now in Marahau in Abel Tasman Park, and right now this computer seems to be swaying because I've been in a kayak for the past two days - but that could be several more posts.
Since my job ended I left Wellington, things been amazing, and I am definitely loving living like a gypsy.
