One week until Christmas

I bought my last Christmas present yesterday. Aren't you proud? Now I'm slowly wrapping them. I can only do one or two before I get really frustrated and give up. I am not a good gift-wrapper.

Also I made this scarf for a friend (I won't say which friend in the tiny chance she reads this). Isn't is cool? I'm fairly impressed that I was able to crochet it. It uses a double-triple stitch, which I think sounds pretty professional. But as impressed as I am with my crocheting skills, I'm even more impressed with people who can come up with patterns. I have no concept of how they can even imagine how to turn yarn into a scarf.

At work we're moving cubicles. We moved at Christmas last year, so I'm guessing it's some sort of Cook tradition that HR forgot to tell me about. Everyone around me has already moved, but my new cube hasn't even been built yet. It's a little lonely by myself, so I hope they move me before Christmas. If not, I'm afraid I'll start talking to myself and going a little crazy. Doesn't it seem like moving desks should be the subject of an episode of The Office? I mean, seriously, can't you just imagine Dwight trying to direct movers and Jim coming up with an awesome prank to play on him? I think the writers of The Office should probably hire me.

I agree. That would move you out to Californ-i-ay, which would be awesome.
