I am terrible at Christmas shopping. I spent almost two hours shopping tonight and bought one thing for someone besides myself. One. And I'd already bought her something.
But I did buy myself some new mascara and eye liner. I love buying new makeup, even when it's nothing particularly exciting and nothing I need—like black mascara and eye liner (which I only wear about once every three weeks anyway.) But still, I love getting home and opening it up and using it for the first time. I can hardly wait until I get ready for work tomorrow morning to try it out.
I also bought a new hair dryer. Mine broke yesterday. This is now the third hair dryer I've bought in my year-and-a-half of living here. This time I bought one that came with warranty. Smart, right?
Well, that was my enthralling update on the past three months of my life. Now I'm going to go find someone to do my Christmas shopping for me.

wow. sounds like you are rough on hair dryers. what are you doing to them?! ...i love buying new make-up too. i'm the same way. i buy plain boring things...but it's always exciting!
