Catching up

So my goal of keeping up with this blog isn't going so well.

I was in San Antonio this weekend for the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association conference and a roommate night with my roomies.

Highlight: The sports editor jumped into the San Antonio River, and no, he was not at all drunk. Overall, I think we all had a lot of fun, even though we didn't take home as many awards as we have in the past.

This is a fun website: My heritage. It takes your picture and tells you what celebrity you look like. It's pretty random and definitely unscientific, but a lot of fun. Thanks to Sarah, I now know that I range from looking like Helen Clark to Rachel McAdams. I guess I shouldn't try to make the leap into show business.

I was going to link to an editorial I wrote about how much the Optimist staff loves spring, but it doesn't seem to have been posted online. So, if you can, find last week's newspaper and read it. It's over-the-top, but oh so happy.
