Milo

As a kid, I remember scanning the shelves at Blockbuster looking for the perfect movie. The cheery colors and cute scene of a cat and dog on the front of "Milo and Otis" would always grab my attention, and I would carry the case around with me throughout the store, before placing it back on its shelf after finding an even more perfect selection.
Although I never actually watched the movie, I've always remembered the name and the picture that went with it. Until now.
In New Zealand, people don't drink hot chocolate - they drink Milo. Supposedly Milo contains all the nutrients and vitamins needed to be healthy and provide energy, but I'm a bit skeptical about that.
Every morning at work, after making myself wait until at least 9:30, I stroll down to the kitchen for a hot drink. I have my choice of instant coffee, pump coffee, tea and Milo. I like tea, and I like coffee, with milk and sugar of course, but it's very hard to pass up the big green canister of Milo.
Two scoops of light brown powder, a bit of sugar, boiling water (which comes quite conveniently from a tank on the wall) and milk to top it off, and I've got a warm, energizing hot drink to help me make it to lunchtime.
The word "Milo" will now always conjure up the sensation of hot, chocolatey sweetness for me, not an orange cat, no matter how cute.
