I'm 22 years old. I have medium length hair usually in a ponytail and bangs. I wear jeans, t-shirts and flip-flops. Yet, no matter how hard I try to look like a college student, apparently I look as though I am the mother of several young children.
This morning, for the second time this year, a young mother I was working with at VBS asked me: "So which children are yours?"
I guess that's what happens when you're a twentysomething in a small town like this, where most people my age are at least married by now. The ones who aren't band together and try to assure themselves it's ok to be single, which is understandable, considering what the rest of the town is telling them.
I think I'm ready to move to the city.

Hahaha, awesome. Jacklyn, the mother. I can see it now...actually, I can't. That would be weird. It'll be weird once all of us actually do succumb to the married life and rear our annoying children.
