Geography Lesson

In about two weeks I'm moving to New Zealand, an island southeast of Australia. I've noticed that many people don't really know exactly where that is, and I was one of them before I decided to move there. So just for those who might like a better idea of where exactly New Zealand is located, here's a map:



Apparently New Zealand is the most isolated country in the world; it's about 1,300 miles from Australia. And for a sense of perspective, it's about the size of California.
