weather

When I walked to work this morning, the sun was shining and I was perfectly warm in my skirt and sweater.
At about 10 a.m., I walked across the street to run an errand, and I had to pull my jacket tight to stay warm and put my hair in a ponytail to keep the rain from messing it up.
At lunch time, I gazed out the window wistfully, wishing I had time to eat my lunch outside in the sunshine and admire the rainbow that had appeared over the hills.
By the time 5 o'clock rolled around, I was gathered at the window with my coworkers, trying to decide if it was sleeting or snowing, when my boss came in and informed us it was in fact hailing.
After finishing all my tasks half an hour later, I walked home under a blue sky, having to look at the ground as I walked to keep the sun's bright glare from hurting my eyes.
Wellington weather is weird.
